Pet Grooming Services at Abri Veterinary Hospital

Whether your pet requires a simple bath, nail trim, anal gland expression, or more specialized treatments, our veterinary team will consistently provide compassionate care. Additionally, we offer sedation options. Our goal is to ensure your pet’s comfort and relaxation during the grooming process, and we will promptly notify you when your pet is ready for pickup. Meet our pet groomer

Danae grew her love for animals when she started volunteering at a shelter – and she has been working with dogs and cats since she was 14 years old! Animals are truly her passion, so pursuing a career in grooming was an easy decision to make. She’s been grooming professionally since 2020 and can’t wait to meet your furry friend soon!

Packages

Sedation – If sedation is required for the pet to be groomed, the sedation will be administered and monitored by the attending veterinarian which includes an exam, sedation and reversal.

Fleas – In the event that your pet comes in with fleas, your pet will be administered a Capstar pill, which is a fast-acting, oral flea treatment for dogs and cats that kills adult fleas before they can start an infestation.

Scruff to Fluff (or Scruff to Fluff-Sensitive) Full Groom

*Scruff to Fluff-Sensitive uses hypo-allergenic shampoo and soothing oatmeal or aloe-based conditioner with vitamin E. If you are using a prescription/medicated shampoo for your pet, owner’s must provide.*

Includes:

  • Bath-Deep Cleaning Shampoo/Conditioner
  • Blow out and Brush out (both!)
  • Hair Cut and Style
  • Nail trim
  • Ear cleaning (plucking if needed)
  • Eye cleaning (if needed)
  • Anal gland expression (external)
  • Bandana or Bow
  • Optional: Scented Spritz

Add on(s):

  • Hand scissoring or Special Hand Grooming for poodles, doodles or complex-coated dogs,
  • Paw and Nose Balm, and
  • Nails (difficult)- Dremel tool

The Pampered Pooch (or The Pampered Pooch -Sensitive) The Spa Treatment

*Pampered Pooch-Sensitive uses hypo-allergenic shampoo and soothing oatmeal or aloe vera based conditioner. If you are using a medicated shampoo for your pet, the owner must provide it.*

Includes:

  • Bath-Deep Cleaning Shampoo/Conditioner
  • Blow out/Brush out (both!)
  • Trim of the Face, Feet and Fanny (only)
  • Anal gland expression (external)
  • Ear cleaning (plucking if needed)
  • Eye cleaning (tear stains)
  • Nail trim
  • Bandana or Bow
  • Optional: Scented Spritz

De-Matting Package

(Depending on size and breed and how severe the mats are, a consultation with the groomer prior to scheduling is required).

Includes:

  • Bath-Special de-matting shampoo and deep moisturizing detangler conditioner
  • Blow out
  • Brush out (if possible)
  • Shave Mats (will attempt to get all mats, however, depending on severity-may take more than one appointment depending on pet’s tolerance level)
  • Nail trim
  • Ear Cleaning (plucking if needed)

Includes:

  • Bath, special de-shedding shampoo and deep moisturizing conditioner
  • Blow out/brush out (both!)

  • 30 minutes of de-shedding tool, Furminator
